Huh. Interesting concept.

Oh, of course she'd fling the moon around for a bit.

Reply epicness, January 22nd, 2013, 2:45 pm

Was the OTP intentional?*shot*

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 22nd, 2013, 5:39 pm

Funny coincidence how when Selena flings the moon around, it looks like a star constellation.

You know, I used to not know or care who Slenderman was, till I watched Pewdiepie play it and gawl, I can't even get to sleep anymore 8(

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 23rd, 2013, 3:45 pm

@Fiora Aroura: I knew Slenderman years before the game ever popped up. Lemme tell ya though Fiora, the feel of actually PLAYING the game, far exceeds the feel of watching someone.... *twitch*

@Bruce the Hedgehound:
Can't be that bad.

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 23rd, 2013, 5:36 pm

@epicness: Sure, not after the 4th or 5th time through, but a first time go is always the worst.

@Fiora Aroura: I recently acquired something you may be interested in. Are you familiar with Ty the Tasmanian Tiger? Well, I just got Ty 3. I remember a friend of mine had it and it was great. So, when I saw it at my local videogame exchange shop (along with Melee and Billy Hatcher), I had to get it.

Think of it as Ratchet & Clank (with boomerangs) in Australia, from the developers of The Legend of Spyro. (It also carries some traits from The Legend of Zelda). Does this peak your interest?

Reply epicness, January 30th, 2013, 5:56 pm

Ah Ty...

I remember playing the first game briefly when i was young.

Until i had to challenge thingie IDK with a swimming race in one of the first levels.

I immediatly ragequitted.

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 30th, 2013, 6:31 pm

@Lugbzurg: Aw yeah! I remember Ty! That was an awesome trilogy of games. The first one, IMO is probably the weakest in the trilogy, with the second being the strongest. And it's funny you mention the creators of Spyro because in a debut trailer for Ty, it showed Sonic, Crash, and Spyro wrapped up in bandages in a hospital with Ty walking out victoriously twirling his 'rangs.

Reply Lugbzurg, January 30th, 2013, 7:30 pm

@Bruce the Hedgehound: As soon as you described that, I just had to see it.

Oh, and I didn't say "The creators of Spyro", I said "the developers of the Legend of Spyro". Big difference. Krome studios created the "Legend" trilogy, while Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance) was the group that created Spyro in the first place back in the 90s.

As for that other game... Still feeling starved for Sonic Adventure 3? Not been satisfied by Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic '06, or Sonic Unleashed? (Seriously, there are people who call all of these games "Sonic Adventure 3"!) Well, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg is the closest thing we've gotten so far! No, I'm serious! There's definitely a lot of that Sonic Adventure 1/2 flare in this game, with a bit of influence from the Genesis titles. There's even several sound effects from the Adventure and Advance games (the latter in better quality mind you), it uses 2D SA2-style pictures of the characters, and it also runs on the Sonic Adventure 2 engine! It's so happy! And it's got such a catchy soundtrack!

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 31st, 2013, 12:27 pm

@Lugbzurg: You know, I actually played Billy Hatcher before Sonic Adventure. I personally thought it was an awesome game. Maybe Sega should work on that IP now instead of jumping on the corpse of Sonic and selling whatever pungent fluids spurt out.

Reply Lugbzurg, January 31st, 2013, 12:51 pm

@Bruce the Hedgehound: You know what's really weird? You know about the whole "Sonic has one eye" thing, right? Well, it turns out that Ty has TWO MOUTHS. Well, maybe three, if they don't fuse together to form that bite mouth in the middle.

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, January 31st, 2013, 1:57 pm

@Lugbzurg: I always never gave it much thought, because in scenes when Ty is speaking, you only see one side of his mouth anyways. It never bothered me much though. I was more focused on such things as why there are SPIDERS AS BIG AS A FRICKIN' TIGER IN AUSTRALIA!!!
*shuffles into corner and enters fetal position*

Reply Lugbzurg, January 31st, 2013, 7:34 pm

@Bruce the Hedgehound: I didn't even notice until I came across a cutscene that showed his face head-on.
I double-checked during the gameplay by rotating the camera, and sure enough, there were two mouths to be seen.

Reply Fiora Aroura, January 31st, 2013, 11:50 pm

@Lugbzurg: I've heard of it. You're actually not the first one to ask me about it though.

(I like your voice :) ) "BACK IN MAH DAY!" XDDDDD

Reply Lugbzurg, January 31st, 2013, 11:56 pm

@Fiora Aroura: You like my voice? My Robotnik voice or my "Old Man Gamer" voice that I mentioned a looooong time ago?

Reply Fiora Aroura, February 1st, 2013, 12:28 am

@Lugbzurg: Uh, I think it was the old man gamer one. I was bustin a gut laughing at it XD That was pretty good ^^

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, February 1st, 2013, 9:32 am

@Lugbzurg: Oh, I lurb them Back in Mah Day sketches. XD

I remember in Drama class once, I said, "Back in MAH day! We only had one button to play vidja games with! None of these X-Stations and iBoxes that you whippersnappers have today!"

Reply Lugbzurg, February 1st, 2013, 10:54 am

@Bruce the Hedgehound: Why, back in MAH day, Link was always left-handed!

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, February 1st, 2013, 2:06 pm

@Lugbzurg: Well back in MAH day, we used to call this Mario character Jumpman!

Well back in MAH day the new latest Pokemon was pokemon Diamond!

Reply Lugbzurg, February 1st, 2013, 4:01 pm

@Bruce the Hedgehound: But they're... not actually the same character...

Back in MAH day, first-person shooters didn't shove the guns off to the right of the screen. Instead, they were in the middle. IE: The way that sane people hold guns!

Reply Fiora Aroura, February 2nd, 2013, 8:03 pm

@Lugbzurg: Cool avi to. ^^

Reply Bruce the Hedgehound, February 3rd, 2013, 9:57 am

@Lugbzurg: Bacn in MAH day, we used to think Zelda was a boy!

@Bruce the Hedgehound: I thought we thought Link was Zelda and Samus was a boy!
